Larry and Jeanne Iddings, Sr. of Sioux City, Iowa announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole, to United States Marine Corps Sgt. Zachary M.L. Pilcher, the son of Daniel and Gigi Pilcher of Ketchikan, Alaska.

Miss Iddings is a student at California State University, San Marcos, California majoring in Communications.

Sgt. Zack Pilcher is currently serving as a U.S. Marine Corps instructor at the School of Infantry, Infantry Training Battalion at Camp Pendleton, California. Sgt. Pilcher attended both Ketchikan High School and Revilla High School in Ketchikan, Alaska and is a graduate of the 95-2 class at the Alaska Military Academy (formerly the Alaska National Guard Youth Challenge Corps) in Anchorage, Alaska.

The couple plan a United States Marine Corps wedding on June 8, 2002. The wedding will be held at the Catholic Church of The Nativity in Rancho Santa Fe, California.

Following the wedding, a dinner reception and dance will be held at the home of Robert and Christine Spears in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
