Fred Bass & Pat Brown
Fred Bass and Pat Brown are well
known Little League coaches who not only devote many hours during
the regular season, but also give up personal time to travel
with teams to State tournaments and regional competitions. They
are frequently seen in the stands cheering
for other teams and players on days when they have no games scheduled.
It is their style of positive encouragement and firm guidance
that distinguish their coaching.
Brown and Bass are recognized
for building the assets of other caring adults, positive adult
role models, youth programs, positive peer influence, responsibility,
planning and decision making, interpersonal competence, personal
power and self-esteem.
Don Mitchel had the honor of
presenting the 2001 Community Asset Builders Awards to Bass and
Brown.
