A Public Hearing & special meeting will be held by the Ketchikan School Board on Wednesday, December 18th, at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers for the purpose of making decisions and discussing issues on the following agenda:

Public Hearing - To discuss the location of the Tongass School of Arts and Sciences

Special Meeting - Action Items:

• Motion to approve the minutes of the December 11, 2002 meeting
• Motion to amend the contract with the Tongass School of Arts and Sciences to designate the location as Houghtaling School
• Motion to amend the contract with the Tongass School of Arts and Sciences to designate the location as Pt. Higgins School
• Motion to amend the contract with the Tongass School of Arts and Sciences to designate the location as Valley Park School
• Motion to amend the contract with the Tongass School of Arts and Sciences to designate the location as White Cliff School
• Motion to approve Board Committee appointments including to the Legislative Liaison
• Motion to approve a Resolution for the State Wrestling Tournament
• Motion to approve the contract with the School Secretaries
• Motion to approve a two-year contract with Victor IV Labor Relations
• Motion to form an ad hoc committee to review and develop the drug, alcohol and tobacco policies for equitable treatment of students
