Billie Jo has been a powerful voice for women and children through her advocacy and role of shelter coordinator at Women in Safe Homes. She has been a champion for women to empower themselves through personal decision-making and life changes.

Billie Jo has also been an advocate to at-risk youth through her work at the Residential Youth Center and SEA LInk.

Billie Jo has one son and another child on the way.
